How Often Should I Have My Home Treated for Pests?

One of the most common questions that our Bug Guys get is – how often should I have my home treated for pests? 

Your home is one of the biggest investments that you make over the course of your life, so protecting it is critical. Pest control is one of those things that you don’t wait until the last minute for. So, scheduling regular pest control treatments throughout the year can proactively protect your home from any type of long-term danger. 

How often do we recommend pest control treatments?  

Our Bug Guys typically recommend having your home treated for pests at least once a quarter. One of the top reasons we recommend spraying with frequency is because only treating your home once to twice a year can create vulnerability for pest invasion once the treatment wears off. 

Before you land on a plan, it is important to determine what type of pest problem you are having. This is one of the leading factors in how often you will need your home treated. Some pests like roaches, mosquitoes, bed bugs, and ants are ongoing invaders causing you to have to spray more frequently. Versus some pests are only seasonal invaders that require a one-time treatment. 

With our quarterly plan, general pests are covered in this treatment. If you are having additional problems with mosquitoes or ants in and outside of your home, then it might be time for you to take a bigger approach and invest in a monthly protection plan.
